Course Learning Objectives

  • Discuss and apply risk mitigation strategies to address medical emergencies and environmental injuries during athletic-related activities and optimize outcomes. 
  • Enhance skills through hands-on learning labs utilizing specific therapeutic taping techniques to address acute & chronic musculoskeletal pathologies,  and enhance skills to improve patient positioning, ordering and recognition of various skeletal injuries using radiological images in the clinical setting.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of surgical interventions and rehabilitation strategies/protocols to address hip and shoulder pathologies, and design and implement plans in alignment with evidence-based practice and applicable guidelines to improve surgical, rehabilitative and patient outcomes.
  • Understand and apply strategies to increase the athletic trainer's value to healthcare organizations, growing their brand, improve leadership skills, and recognize the growing trend of global healthcare involving athletic trainers.
  • Understand and apply clinical skills to recognize, evaluate and treat pediatric injuries inside and outside of athletic-related activities.

Attendees may only claim continuing education credits for sessions they have registered and are present for.


Cancellation Policy

In the event this CE event is cancelled, tuition will be refunded (where applicable).

MATA Cancellation Policy: A participant who is registered for this CE activity and cancels their attendance prior to 12:00 AM on Monday, April 7th, 2025 will be given a full tuition refund excluding a $10 administrative fee.

A participant who has registered for this CE activity and cancels their attendance after 12:00 AM on Monday, April 7th, 2025 will be provided a 30% refund.

Any participant who has registered for this CE activity, but fails to cancel their attendance prior to 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 10th, 2025 will not be provided a refund.
