The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) is the agency responsible for accreditation of professional athletic training educational programs.  Their mission is to define, measure, and continually improve athletic training education, making sure all accredited programs meet specific acceptable educational standards for professional level athletic training education.
